Total Maintenance Solutions (TMS) is looking for an experienced Commercial Maintenance Electrician to join our Geelong-based team.
We’re offering a highly competitive hourly rate well above award, together with a fully maintained company vehicle, RDOs, two additional Mental Health Days each year, mobile phone allowance, tablet, uniforms and ongoing specialist training.

About TMS
Total Maintenance Solutions is a locally owned and operated Geelong company that has been servicing the region since 2000.
We provide commercial electrical maintenance, automatic access and renewable energy services to more than 300 customers across healthcare, education, government, retail, aged care and commercial facilities.
The Role
Based from our North Geelong office, you’ll work across Greater Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast and surrounding regions as part of an experienced service team.
This isn’t a construction role. It’s a genuine service and maintenance position where you’ll diagnose problems, work directly with customers and take ownership of getting things working again.
- Commercial electrical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Preventative maintenance and testing
- Electrical repairs and upgrades
- Small commercial projects and installations
- Customer fault diagnosis and technical problem solving
- Automatic door and access system servicing and repairs
- Electronic job reporting through our tablet-based Simpro system
We’re Looking for a Good Electrician
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- 5+ years post-trade experience
- Strong commercial service and maintenance experience
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Experience working in healthcare, education, retail or similar commercial environments
- Good customer communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and White Card
Automatic door, automatic access or access control experience would be highly regarded.
However, if you’re an excellent commercial maintenance electrician without automatic access experience, don’t let that stop you applying. We’ll provide specialist training to the right person.
